Sofia Mensurado Santos
Institute of Molecular Medicine - João Lobo Antunes - Portugal
Sofia c unducted her doctoral studies in immuno-oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon and investigates the role of the immune system in cancer progression since 2013. She has published in scientific journals such as PloS Biology, PNAS and Cancer Immunology Research, as well as a review article in Nature Reviews Cancer. Her work was awarded the 1st prize of Janssen Innovation Award in 2018. Sofia has conceived and performed a research project, funded by Fundo iMM-Laço on breast cancer translational research. She has supervised a total of 3 master students, which have successfully graduated in 2018 and 2020. Since 2020 Sofia is an invited researcher at the immuno-oncology biotech company GammaDelta Therapeutics (London, UK) and is responsible for the implementation of a sponsored research agreement at iMM.
Joseph Antonio Pérez Simon
Head of Service, University Hospital of Salamanca; Professor Titular University of Seville, Vice-director Biomedicine Institute of Seville- Spain
Dr. Pérez Simón completed his specialization and doctorate in Hematology at the Salamanca University Hospital in 1997. After a scholarship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 1999 he returned to Salamanca where he worked in the BMT Unit and in the Laboratory of Cellular therapy.
Since 2010 he is Head of the Hematology Service at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital in Seville and Responsible Researcher at the IBIS (Institute of Biomedical Research of Seville), where he coordinated the Research Area in Oncohematology until 2020. He held the position of full professor of the University of Seville in March 2014 and, since February 2020, he has been deputy director of IBIS. His area of research is mainly focused on hematopoietic transplantation and cell therapy. In this field you have & gt; 230 manuscripts in international journals and & gt; 35 research projects supported by competitive national / international scholarships
Daniela Cerezo-Wallis
National Center for Cardiovascular Research - Spain
Degree in Biological Sciences from the Simón Bolívar University, Caracas, Venezuela. Daniela has a Master's Degree in Immunology from the University of Granada, Spain. In 2012, he was awarded a scholarship from the prestigious international Caixa-CNIO program to carry out his doctorate in the Melanoma group, led by Dr. Marisol Soengas, at the National Center for Oncological Research (CNIO) in Madrid. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral "Cancer Research Institute" fellow and develops her research at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC). His main interest at present is to elucidate the alterations in the innate immune system in the context of cancer, with particular interest in neutrophil populations.

Institut de Recerca Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP). Campus Can Ruti
KOL - Cytek Biosciences
Marco Antonio Fernández, graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Barcelona, is responsible for the flow cytometry platform of the Germans Trias y Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) in Badalona (Barcelona, Spain) since 1999. With experience in cytometry Since 1991, both at a clinical level and in research projects, it leads the longitudinal support of cytometric studies from the initial design to the analysis of the data generated, as well as the services derived from cell sorting and single cell. During the last 20 years, more than 900 students have passed through the training courses carried out from the IGTP cytometry platform.
